GreenTokri has met the challenge of creating an efficient home delivery system that brings the salads and herbs within hours of harvest directly from the farm to your fridge! This ensures the freshness, good looks and taste of the salad. The harvest on our farms happens early in the day when it is cool and the morning dew is still on the produce.

The salads are loaded within the hour into the van and taken to a large cold-storage centre in Koregaon Park, Pune. At the cold storage, they are washed, packaged and stored at 8°C (46°F). The salads are then distributed to our customers.

In this way, delivered salads will easily store well for 5-7 days in the fridge (some of our customers even store our salads up to 10 days).

Within the first year, more than 2000 people have signed up for this service, which is currently available in most areas of Pune. As the consumer base increases, the distribution network will grow to cover all areas of Pune.

How it Works

Once a week, usually 2 days before your delivery day, you will receive an SMS with our offers of the week. If you want to order, simply reply to this SMS with your selection and quantity. If you don’t want salad, just ignore the SMS. Our policy is “No Reply, No Order.”

We collect your payment at the time of delivery. Please let us know if no one is home to receive your salad. Many customers have enjoyed the convenience of making advanced payments. The customer with an advanced payment does not have to be home for delivery. We simply leave the salad bag at the door.
